Third-Party Services
PostHog
We currently use PostHog as an analytics provider. PostHog may process analytics data sent by the app on our behalf.
News publishers and websites
Learn Media Arabic helps you read articles from third-party news sources. When you open content in Original Article mode, the article may be loaded from the publisher’s website inside a web view. Those publishers may use cookies, logs, or other tracking technologies under their own terms and privacy policies.
Reader Mode is designed to present a cleaner reading experience, but article content still originates from third-party publishers.
Data Sharing
We do not currently sell your personal information.
We may share limited data with service providers only as needed to operate the app, such as analytics providers that process usage data on our behalf.
We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the app.
Data Retention
- Data stored locally on your device generally remains there until you remove it, delete it in the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
- Analytics data sent to third-party providers may be retained according to those providers’ retention settings and policies.
Your Choices
Depending on your device and how the app is distributed, you may be able to limit some analytics or network access through device settings or by discontinuing use of the app.
You can also:
- delete saved words from within the app where that feature is available
- uninstall the app to remove app data stored locally on your device
- avoid opening articles in Original Article mode if you prefer not to load publisher web pages
